Overstock.com
Yesterday I speed home with excitement to pick up my luggage I ordered from overstock.com.....as you can see I don't have much of a life right now...lol. So I get the heavy box in the house and tear it open its a completely different set of luggage than I ordered, and cheap as hell. Imagine a man standing on a corner selling random luggage.......it appeared cheaper than that. Now I am not saying that I bought $1000 luggage or anything but come on. So I proceed to call Overstock, and there solution was to send the luggage back standard shipping which is 7-10days then after they delivered they would send me something better standard shipping again 7-10days. This I explained to them wasn't going to work for me their next suggestion they would refund me....... an amazing.......$20.....thanks overstock way to compensate.

The ticket has been booked!
Hooray! I am officially booked to get the HELL out of here, Yippee! Culture, tradition, and small Korean people here I come. Its funny you know, since I have decided to move to Korea every Asian person I see I wonder are they Korean and some I ask. I try to gain as much knowledge about this place I am going to call home for a while as I can. Sunday I went to to the beauty supply store (for those who don't know Korean dominates the black hair care market in America, which I think is funny and odd all at the same time but anyway...) I spent like $70 on hair crap. I talked to them about blacks in Korea and the part of Korea I was moving to...they were surprisingly impressed that I had did so much research, we spoke about the school I was going to be teaching at, they also let me know that the position I was taking on was really impressive by Korean standards. I think that is awesome that the teacher is looked at as a position of power and influence in Korea....we need to adopt that same attitude here.

Preparing for Korea
I have exactly 25 days before I am out of the US. Things are slowly coming together, but this is just the begining of it. On the 30th I will be flying to California( my wonderful home town) to be in and celebrate the marriage of my best friend Tiffany. I will be home for 6 day and will return to Atlanta 3 days before my departure to Korea. I really wish I could leave now to go to Korea but I think Tiff would be upset if I was in attendance. Friends, coworkers and family insist that the Korean people are just going to love, and I hope so since I will be taller than all of them. I figure thaey will love me or look at me like some kinda of freak but either way I think that will be kinda fun.
